 News Release December 10, 2010

Child Find PEI wishes to inform the public that we are not fundraising at this time. Child Find PEI is currently receiving some telephone calls from people who have reported being contacted by phone with requests to purchase sponsor advertising to produce a fingerprint ID kit.    A number of our callers have stated that they have been left with the impression that this is a fundraising campaign being run by Child Find PEI.  IT IS NOT.

Child Find PEI will be conducting its annual fundraising campaign in the next few months.  We will ensure that sufficient advertising is done prior to our start date in order to keep the public properly informed.  Child Find PEI depends on the financial support from our Island communities.  It is a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers.  Our fingerprinting service is offered free of charge in the community.

Child Find PEI wishes to thank the public for their past support, and encourages them to disburse their charitable dollars wisely.  We also encourage the public to determine where their money is going and what services it will provide, before agreeing to donate any amount of money.

Please remember that you have the right to ask for identification from any persons requesting donations by telephone or door-to-door.  If you have been recently contacted and left with the impression that you were contributing to Child Find PEI, please contact our office at 368-1678 for clarification before donating any money.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Jackie Gould our recent winner of the Kents Kidz Home. We would like to thank everyone for their support.
